Happy Monday everyone!!!

Well I’m here. I dont know how but i made it work super early this morning after literally fighting my alarm clock.

The weekend was great…almost. Friday night the hunny and I went to Camelot DC for his best friends birthday. It was hot and of course i let a skripper clap her booty cheeks in my face for $1. =) Saturday hunny’s old college roomate and his girlfriend came to visit.  It was nice to catch up with them and I made a delicious chilli (recipe from Crockpot365) in my crockpot. I omitted the chicken and added more enchilada sauce and 2 cups of corn. They loved it and I loved it.  I also had another green smoothie for snack and breakfast:

6 whole strawberries (stems included)

1 banana

1 cup of green grapes

2 handfuls of spinach

1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup watermelon juice

Oh it was soooo good and even hubby didnt mind the taste. of course he commented that there was obviously spinach in it but i knew he couldnt taste it over the strawberries and banana.

So now I’m at work dreading this supervision meeting I’m about  to have.  I really just wanna go home and away from my supervisors constant ad libbing!!! grrrr!

Day 1

I’m finally ready to start. However, I’ve decided that while I am still going to try to eat a mostly raw vegan diet, allowing myself to have some cooked foods and yogurt seems to be best for my body and my skin.

So today begins the day that I transition. Onto what I ate today:

Chobani Yogurt and Blueberry flax granola from M.O.M

2 oranges

1 avocado (so far)

2 handfulls of spinach

Thats just breakfast and lunch. I havent decided what to have for dinner but the time is nearing and I have some ideas.

Oh and I also made my first green smoothie!! and boy was it super yummy

3 handful of spinach

1 banana

1/2 cup watermelon juice

1 cup water

Very simple and very delicious.  I will definitely try this one again. Anyhoo, Honey’s roommate from Rutgers will be traveling here with his girlfriend tomorrow night to stay for the weekend. I’m not excited about cleaning up the apartment but I am excited about going to see Alice and Wonderland  tomorrow night.
